SharoX · Benpos Analysis Software

Know every shareholder.
And what every holding is worth.

SharoX reads your CDSL & NSDL benpos files in any format and builds a complete, dated record of every shareholder — who's new, who exited, who is quietly accumulating, who trades again and again. Then it puts a rupee figure against all of it: what each holder paid, what they hold today, and what they have actually made or lost. And beside your register sits a full analyst's desk — load any listed company's filed accounts, ten-year history and a one-click due-diligence scan.

🇮🇳Built for Indian registers PAN, DP ID, splits, bonuses, lakhs and crores — the way your data already is.

From raw benpos files to a register you can actually read

Everything a company secretary or promoter asks of a shareholding register — without a single Excel formula.

Reading & comparing your files

🔗

Merge any format

CDSL, NSDL, RTA benpos or folio layouts, in Excel or plain text. Confirm the columns once — SharoX remembers, and refuses a file you have already loaded.

📊

Compare any two dates

New entries, exits, increases and partial sells — against last week, last quarter, or the master baseline. Filter by status, tag or any column.

📅
NEW

Many dates at once

Put any benpos sheets you choose side by side — a whole stretch around an allotment or a results date — with the change between every neighbouring pair.

⚖️

Split & bonus aware

Record the ratio once and past holdings are restated, so a 1:1 bonus never looks like everyone doubled. Only real buying and selling stands out.

🕑

Full holder history

Every shareholder's complete timeline across every file you have ever loaded — even after they exit — with splits and bonuses marked.

🔍

Find anyone, instantly

Type a name, DP ID or PAN and find any holder across all your files, with how many files each one appears in.

Understanding who is who

👤
NEW

One person, one holding

A holder who changes broker looks like an exit plus a new entry. SharoX spots it by PAN, links the demats, and counts that person once — so a transfer stops reading as a sale.

🧾
NEW

Investor categories

Your register split by investor type — individual, NRI, company, HUF, trust — read straight from each holder's PAN. The quarterly SHP picture, every week, with no tagging.

🏷️

Tag & filter

Promoter, promoter group, relatives, known parties — colour-coded tags that stay with the DP ID forever, and filter every screen in the app.

📈

Active traders

Holders who buy and sell again and again — over a month, a year or all time — with each one's total bought and total sold.

⚠️

Threshold alerts

An automatic alert the moment any holder crosses 1% / 5% / 10% / 25% of the company, or moves sharply in a single week.

📋

Weekly digest

The week's whole story on one screen — entrants, exits, top movers, your watchlist — shareable as a one-page PDF.

Your data, your machine

🔐

Nothing leaves your PC

Every file, every figure and every report stays on your own computer. SharoX works with no internet at all — it only goes online if you ask it to fetch a share price.

💾

Backups that just happen

One-click backup, a scheduled backup you set and forget, and an automatic one before every update. Restore a whole project from a single file.

📤

Export & share

Every screen you can see, you can send — Excel workbooks and one-page PDFs ready for WhatsApp, email or the board file.

Not just how many shares.
How much money.

Set your trading symbol once. From then on SharoX prices every movement in your register from the exchange's own end-of-day files — and answers the question a benpos alone never can.

💰

What each holder paid

Every purchase valued at the price on its own benpos date — not one blanket price for everything — beside what that holding is worth today.

📗

Profit booked, loss booked

A dealing account for the whole register: who has booked a profit, who has booked a loss, who is sitting on a paper gain, and who is under water right now.

📈

Live market price

One button. While the market is open it brings what the share is trading at this minute; after hours, the day's close. Every "worth now" figure follows.

📅

The exact deal date

A benpos only proves the shares moved that week. When you know the real day, pick it on a calendar — with the price and the cost in the same window.

🏦

Margin funding & interest

When a broker funded part of a purchase, record how much and at what rate. Interest is charged day by day on what is still outstanding, and repaid in proportion on a sale.

Money in, money out

The period's rupee flow — who put money in and who took it out — split by investor type and by tag. A board asks how much money moved, not how many shares.

Every rupee figure is clearly marked approximate, and SharoX says which price it used for each one. Where a movement has no price, it refuses to print a profit rather than showing you a confident wrong number.

Any listed company,
read like an analyst

Type a name — any NSE or BSE company, main board or SME — and SharoX builds the full picture from the exchange's own filings. Set your company once and the Analysis screen fills itself in automatically.

🌐
NEW

Load any listed company

Live price, market cap, the filed shareholding pattern and the complete P&L and balance sheet — read from the company's own audited XBRL filings, not bought from a data vendor. 5,700+ companies: NSE, BSE, SME boards, every sector.

📊
NEW

Ten years, year by year

Each column from that year's OWN audited filing — revenue, EBITDA, profit, net worth, borrowings, cash — with compound growth over 3, 5 and 10 years. A year with no full-year statement shows blank rather than a quarter dressed up as a year.

🕵
NEW

Due diligence in one click

GST and income-tax cases, SEBI / RBI actions, court and NCLT matters, loan defaults, auditor and director exits, promoter pledge — from years of the company's mandatory exchange disclosures, each with its rupee amount and the actual filing PDF one click away.

🚩
NEW

Balance-sheet red flags

Negative net worth, heavy leverage, revenue falling year after year, loss-making years, a qualified audit opinion, self-declared loan defaults, pledged promoter holding — every flag stated with the figures that raised it, never a bare verdict.

🧮
NEW

What-if the books

Rights issue, QIP, FCCB, warrants, bonus, split, buyback — 19 kinds of corporate action. Type "₹49 crore at ₹3" and the share count calculates itself; net worth, book value, EPS and the promoter % move in front of you, diluted figures beside reported ones.

📈
NEW

Project the future

Add a year of expected profit and turnover and watch net worth, book value and market cap follow — scenario after scenario, saved with the project, cleared with one button when you want a fresh sheet.

Questions we get asked

The things a company secretary wants settled before installing anything.

Does my shareholder data go anywhere?
No. SharoX is a desktop application — your benpos files, your register and every report stay on your own computer. It works with no internet connection at all. The only time it goes online is when you press Update latest price (to read a share price) or check for an update, and neither of those sends any holder information.
Where do the rupee figures come from?
From the exchanges' own published end-of-day files for the symbol you set, matched to each benpos date. Where you know the real deal price — an IPO allotment, an off-market block — you can set it yourself and it takes over, marked with a ✎ so you always know which is which. Every figure is labelled approximate, and where a movement has no price SharoX hides the profit line rather than printing a wrong one.
Our benpos files come in an odd layout. Will it read them?
Yes — CDSL, NSDL, RTA benpos and folio layouts, in Excel or plain text. The first time it sees a new layout it asks you to confirm which column is which, then remembers it for every future file. It also refuses to load the same file twice by mistake.
What happens to a holder who changes broker?
Normally the old DP ID looks like a full exit and the new one like a brand-new investor — which quietly ruins your buying and selling numbers. SharoX scans every file you have loaded, matches the PAN behind both demats and offers to link them. Once linked, the transfer stops counting as a sale plus a purchase, the history joins up, and the ledger counts that person once.
Where does the Company Analysis data come from?
From the exchanges' own published files and the company's own filed XBRL statements — the same documents the company signed and submitted. Nothing is bought from a data vendor, and nothing about your register is sent anywhere: the app only fetches public data for the company you ask about. Where a balance sheet doesn't tie to the assets the company filed, SharoX refuses to show it rather than showing a confident wrong number.
What does the Due diligence scan actually cover?
Years of the company's mandatory disclosures to BSE and NSE — where SEBI's Regulation 30 forces every GST order, income-tax demand, penalty, court matter, default, auditor exit and pledge event onto the record — plus red flags computed from its own filed accounts. Where a disclosure's headline says nothing, SharoX opens the attached filing PDF and reads inside. It reads what the company disclosed; a matter hidden from the exchanges will not appear, so treat it as a fast, thorough screen — not a lawyer.
Can we try it before paying?
Yes — a fully functional 10-day trial, no card and no account needed. Download, load a few benpos files and see your own register. If it suits you, buy the licence; if not, nothing happens and your data stays on your machine.
What if the licence expires or the PC is replaced?
There is a 15-day grace period after expiry. After that the app stops opening, but your data is never deleted — renew and everything is exactly where you left it. If you replace the computer, we re-issue the key for the new machine free of charge.
How many companies can we track?
Five projects are included with a licence, each a completely separate register with its own files, tags, prices and backups — useful for a group with more than one listed entity, or for an advisor. Need more? Ask us.
