This Privacy Policy explains what information MokshX Private Limited ("MokshX", "we", "us") collects in connection with the SharoX software and the mokshx.net website, and how we use it.

The most important thing: SharoX is an offline desktop application. Your shareholder data (holder names, PAN, addresses, holdings) stays on your computer. It is never uploaded to, stored by, or visible to MokshX or any cloud service.

1. Information we collect

• Contact & purchase details — when you contact us or buy a licence: your name, company, email, phone, and order details.
• Payments — processed securely by our payment partner (Razorpay). We receive a payment reference and status; we never receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.
• Licensing information — to issue and verify machine-locked licences: your Activation Code / machine identifier (a hardware fingerprint of your PC), licence status, and app version.
• Diagnostics you choose to send — if you click "Report a problem" in the app, the report includes the app version, machine identifier, and recent error log so we can help you. Nothing is sent automatically.

2. What we use it for

• Issuing, verifying, and re-issuing licences; providing updates.
• Responding to enquiries and providing support.
• Processing payments, invoicing, and maintaining business records.
• Meeting legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Infrastructure providers — our website, licence server, and email delivery run on reputable cloud providers (e.g. Cloudflare; transactional email service). They process data only to provide these services to us.
• Authorities, if required by law.

4. Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only essential technical storage (if any) is used to make the site and payment page work.

5. Retention & security

We keep purchase and licensing records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal (e.g. tax) requirements. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information (subject to records we must keep by law) by emailing info@mokshx.net. We respond within a reasonable time.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
